Default Problems with Serna 2.0.1 - 01-18-2005, 05:11 AM

Hello,

I am trying to evaluate the Serna 2.0.1 but it keeps crashing or simply
diasappearing. I have a 2ghz machine with Windows XP Pro SP2.

Among the things happening

* crashes during file load and asks to send report to Microsoft
* just disappears in the middle of processing fo to PDF
* and just recently I received:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Exception in thread "main"
SCRIPT ENDS:

Also, is there any way to see the XSL output messages after I have closed the
publishing window. For example, the #3 problem was only evident in the log and
I could not find it again after closing the publishing window. This means that
I had to rerun the process to get the message :(

Thanks for any ideas. It looks like it has potential.
Shawn

Shawn,

Please send the problem document with the exact set of instructions how to
reproduce the bug to: serna-bugs@syntext.com .

No. We considered that it is enough to have the ability to copy/paste the
publishing window content. Do you think we should save the publishing
logs?

This is something connected purely to Java application, I believe. Because
when publishing Serna does nothing, but calls a batch file executing
external application.
