Hello,

how probematic is it to actually install a new distribution of the open toolkit within the serna enviroment or othewrwise will there be an update to a newer version of the DITA OT with the next Serna version?

This task (integrate DITA OT 1.5 with Serna) will definitely require some efforts (transition OT 1.3 -> 1.4 was labour-intensive + testing was required to cover most popular use cases). I think you should ask support @ syntext dot com for this question.
