Lightbulb Finally, we made Serna Free an Open Source Software !!! - 06-30-2009, 05:26 PM

We are happy to say that it finally happened!

Source code:
Serna Free is now an Open Source Software. Right now you can download the source code as a "tar.bz2" package. We are working on establishing repository access.

License:
http://www.syntext.com/legal/SernaFree-GPL.txt
http://www.syntext.com/legal/SernaFr...-EXCEPTION.txt

Downloads:
Source code and binary package for Windows is accessible at: Download XML Editor, Download Free XML Editor, XML Editing Tools Downloads | Syntext

Binaries:
Compiled binaries for Linux and Mac OS X will be available in a day or two.

Known Issues:
Some functionality may not work as expected, we are in the process of testing and quality assurance. Please be patient.

Build Process:
Build instructions are provided with the source code. Right now build is tested on Suse 10 and Windows.

Timofey.

Congratulations! Perhaps users' enhancement requests will be more frequent and driven towards the most requested improvements.
